I wanted to join the Office of Student Advocacy because of the unique nature of the organization, being that it is run by students for students! It serves as a free and extremely helpful tool to help students in need of support during difficult times in their academic careers. Throughout my own education, I struggled with asking for help but have learned the importance of it and hope to make my peers more comfortable with reaching out for support too!
